Founders and Pastor
Eric serves as lead pastor of Impact Assembly Outreach Center, teaching with a conviction that Scripture is meant to be lived in public. His focus is developing Kingdom leaders — people whose calling has been cultivated, not just discovered.
Monica serves alongside him with a particular heart for women, marriages, and families. She carries pastoral heart and apostolic culture of the house, and she is relentless about women growing and developing and making sure people are known by name.
We are a transformative community that puts high priority on community building, cultivating fellowship and unity amongst the believer while equally pointing the spiritual community toward the transformation, love, and care of all those we've been called to influence and impact in our neighborhood, city, marketplace, and the nations.
About Impact
Impact didn't start with a building. It started with a burden.
For years Eric and Monica served faithfully inside established ministries and endeavored into church planting in the state of Florida and also here in the Charlotte Metro area. Now they are following the leading of God into the Troutman and Mooresville communities. But one thing they've noticed are persistent gaps. Rooms full of gathered believers who've been taught and spiritually developed, and neighborhoods full of people who live minutes from a church and miles from the spiritual community.
Over an extended period of time, God kept returning them to one word, impact. Not influence. Not attendance. Impact. The visible mark a life leaves on people and places around it. That word has become a mandate, and the mandate has become the formation and deployment of an ecclesia/church known as Impact Assembly Outreach Center.
Why this region? Because Troutman, Mooresville, and the surrounding communities are growing, diversifying, and changing fast. And a church or spiritual community that genuinely reflects that diversity can carry the gospel and kingdom impact a homogeneous congregation never reaches. We believe the kingdom of God most genuinely reflects diversity and not singularity. Unity and oneness is what we seek to establish, crossing social and racial barriers that hinder true kingdom advancement and impact.
So we're seeking to build a Christ-centered multicultural community with a clear pathway to assemble people into authentic relationship, develop them into spiritually mature disciples and leaders that are daily and weekly sent out into their neighborhoods, workplaces, cities, and the nations to bring influence, reformation, and kingdom impact through Christ Jesus and the empowering work of the Holy Spirit.
The future we see is a congregation known less for its services and more for its sending — families made strong, leaders raised up, neighbors served and nations reached from a small town in North Carolina.
The People Building This
Launch Team · Executive Administration
Jamela supports the administrative and executive responsibilities and duties of the office of the pastor and administration of the church. She believes that excellence and execution are paramount in establishing an organization and community that truly brings about change. She is the executive administrative assistant to the pastor.
Launch Team · Outreach Coordinators
Daryl and Josie coordinate neighborhood outreach and serving partnerships. Together, they carry a heart for community impact and reaching households and neighborhoods with the love of Christ in hopes that many will come to grow into the knowledge of Christ and be properly discipled through the spiritual community that comes as a result of the engagement that oftentimes precedes eventual transformation.
